As an Electrical & Electronics Engineer with an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Strategy, I am passionate about downtown revitalization and history. I love to tinker around with things and brew historic beers with a twist. My favorite beer is any brewed with a story and passion. Working at Toasty Kettlyst allows me to contribute to downtown revitalization, create a community space for friends and family, and promote local partnerships.

Conner

Trivia host and Assistant Taproom Manager

Conner is huge into acting and puts on a great show at Toasty Kettlyst at Trivia or when he is doing Music Bingo or when a band plays music. His favorite beer is the Wee Bit but of late has also been the KolschWerks! His decision to work at Toasty Kettlyst was having fun working with the team and growing in to the Taproom Manager role.

Katie

Taproom Bartender

Katie is our Saturday and Sun Taproom Bartender. She juggles her time with her fulltime job at the bank, her dogs and Toasty Kettlyst. She also helps with our social media content ensuring that our online community stays engaged and informed. Her favorite beer is the KolschWerks. Her decision to work at Toasty Kettlyst was due to her love of craft beer she wanted to work somewhere with a welcoming community environment.

Jason

Taproom Bartender

Jason works every other Saturday at the Taproom. He grew up in Orlando, moved to Greensboro for college and decided to stay in NC after graduation. He taught EC for about 15 years and recently left the classroom to pursue other interests. In his personal time he enjoys playing guitar and mandolin. His favorite beer at Toasty Kettlyst is a toss up between the Gateway of India, and the Industrious Porter. His decision to work at Toasty Kettlyst was, he was new to the area and wanted to get to know people in the area, which led to working in the taproom on the side.

Rick

Brewer

Rick Tufts, our Brewer, joined Toasty Kettlyst at the beginning of 2023, bringing with him over a decade of professional brewing experience. With a deep love for craft beer, Rick's taste preferences vary depending on the time of day and activity. Additionally, Rick holds a license as a psychologist, showcasing his diverse background. When it comes to Rick's favorite Toasty Kettlyst beer, it's simply whatever is in his hand while he enjoys good times with friends and family. Rick's decision to work at Toasty Kettlyst was influenced by the brewery's growth phase. He is eager to contribute to taking the brewery to the next level of production, embracing the opportunity to be a part of this exciting journey.
